Frequently Asked Questions

Q.     Which age division is the right one for my player(s)?

A.      A complete divisional breakdown for baseball and softball can be found at their respective links. When registering, please choose a division based on the listed age regulations. If you played in a higher division last season, please specify this in the appropriate field on the registration form.

Q.     I might have made a duplicate registration; will I be charged twice?

A.      No. We keep our registration and payments separate to avoid double charges.

Q.    When does the season start and end (2026 Summer)?

A.    While we work with other leagues in the area to give the players exposure to other teams and fields, we won't have an exact date until those schedules are set. Our goal for the current season is:

  • Practices start April 6th

  • Regular season games begin mid-May and continue through late June / early July

  • Tournament play at the close of the season

Q.      Will my team play at other parks?

A.       All T-Ball games will be played at the NLYL park. Baseball and softball games will be a mix of home and away, as we like to work with local parks to coordinate games.

Q.    We are going on vacation during the season; will my player(s) be penalized?

A.   Vacations (can and should) happen! We want the kids on the field as much as possible, so the only playing time they'll miss is when they can't make it to the park.

Q.   I think I goofed on my registration; how can I verify my player is signed up properly?

A.    Contact us via email or Facebook; we'll either make sure you're good to go or help you submit any information that may have been missed during registration.

Q.    My player is signed up but I haven't heard anything yet; what's going on?

A.    Coaches are not assigned until after registration closes (March 29th). Once your player has been assigned to a team, you'll hear from their coach before practices begin in early April. If you haven't heard from anyone by the second week of April, please reach out to us via email or Facebook.

Q.     Registration has closed. Can I still sign up?

A.      We try to be as flexible as possible to add late registrations, but any player registered after March 29th runs the risk of not having their team uniform by opening day. There is also an additional fee of $10 for every late registration.

Q.   When are practices?

A.    Each coach sets their own practice schedules.  Once teams are assigned and coaches reach out to players, you may communicate with them individually on any scheduling constraints.

Q.  Can my player get on the same team as their friend(s)/car pool buddy?

A.   We can try to accommodate these requests if all players are in the same league (T-Ball, Baseball 10U, Softball 12U, etc.)  Requests must be in before March 29th when registration closes.
